In 1993, Josh Kesselman sold nearly everything he owned, moved into a friend’s storage shed in Florida, and brought his passion for rolling papers into his first retail store. In the decades since, Josh has produced a legendary number of custom papers and devices, but the RAW brand and giving back to the community are what he’s best known for. With his new role as owner and publisher of the world renowned High Times Magazine, Josh intends to restore it to his former glory. This new undertaking was profiled in both the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
As for his future plans, exciting things just keep on coming, and when recently asked about his net worth? Josh puts it simply: “I love what I do, and if someone offered me $500 million to sell (and they kinda did) I’d still say no.”

Joshua Kesselman, through the power of RAW, has contributed more than $3 million in direct cash contributions, plus in-kind contributions of about $200,000 to a wide variety of charities over the years. Also, he has recently created The Josh Kesselman Foundation For Making The World A Better Place with an initial starting endowment of $2.2 million dedicated to charitable initiatives globally and locally.
